It doesn’t feel like it today, but I am so ready for spring. The thing is, in Texas we have only about 4 days of spring. Then it is as HOT as the devil’s pants. Today, starts my #SXSW Interactive weekend kicking off with the Blacks in Tech party and the Texas Style Council’s March Mixers. Then tomorrow, I have a fun-filled Saturday being the photographer for the Digital Penetration panel and hitting up nearly every panel after that. My good friend Kaniesha Grayson, author of the book Be Your Own Boyfriend, will be on the “DP” ( I know; the name. I know) panel as well. Check her out! PS: I will be doing a little GIVEAWAY of her book soon. So stay tuned. Then, I will hit the CCAACC and AAULYP event for the Black Creatives Day Party!
Anyway, if you are in Austin for SXSW there’s my schedule for Friday and Sat. Sunday will be a surprise. If you find yourself at these events, come say hi and compliment my outfit! The first part is more of a suggestion; the last part is required.

I love the pink gingham with the cropped green pants. It’s a perfect spring look. And I am so ready for spring here in Georgia too! We have these obnoxious “half and half” days for a few weeks that start out at freezing in the morning and in the 50s in the afternoon. Oh well.
